AMBELIM SC MOVE INTO QUARTERS
CURTORIM: Ambelim SC got the better of UC Benaulim 3-1 to enter the quarter-finals of the Curtorim Villagers Cup organised by Curtorim Gymkhana, at the St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Sunday.
Arvind Fernandes gave Ambelim the lead in the 12th minute. Ten minutes later, UC Benaulim equalised through Aliston Fernandes. The second half was all about Ambelim as they took the lead through Ralph Fernandes in the 60th minute.
In the next minute itself, Arvind Fernandes scored his second to make it 3-1.
