PANJIM: All the aspiring footballers in South Goa will have a chance to develop their skills as FC Goa is all set to start the South Goa chapter of the Soccer Schools Programme on January 7.

The course curated by Technical Director Derrick Pereira will offer children from South Goa an opportunity to learn to play the FC Goa way.

Known for their penchant for attacking football, intricate interplay and free-flowing spirit, the club aims to inculcate in young players, the joy associated with playing “The Beautiful Game” whilst helping them advance and polish the technical, tactical and physical aspects. The programme offers the children an opportunity to get a customised FC Goa jersey and the chance to interact with some of the FC Goa stars.

The four-month long programme will see the young kids going through their drills at the Zariwaddo Ground in Davorlim, Navelim thrice a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 4.30 pm to 6 pm. The children will be divided into three age-groups viz U-8, U-10 and U-12 to receive age-specific training.

One can register their children for the Soccer Schools by visiting fcgoa.in/soccerschools or by visiting to FC Goa House in Porvorim.
