Agxem blank Novovaddo to move into semi-finals
CURTORIM: Agxem blanked Novovaddo 2-0 to move into semi-final of the 4th Jose and Franky memorial inter-ward football, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim, on Wednesday.
Agxem could have taken the lead in 10th minute but Joel Martin’s shot hit the crossbar.
In second half, Agxem scored through a free-kick taken by Joel Martin to make it 1-0 in the 46th minute.
In the dying minutes of the match, Agxem made it 2-0 through Joshley Gomes’ curler.
Novovaddo tried to get back in the game but their striker were unable to convert the chances that were created.
