ECLATE-CURTORIM: Agxem defeated Camarxet SC 4-3 via in the tie-breaker to lift the 3rd 7-A-side Curtorim inter-ward football tournament organised by Eclate Football Club, at Eclate ground, Curtorim, recently.

In an exciting final, Camarxet moved ahead in the 10th minute through Domnick Fernandes, soon after that Agxem equalised through Joshly Gomes after receiving pass from Frazer Castanha to make it 1-1.

 In the second half, Agxem could have taken the lead but Frazer Castanha’s shot hit the crossbar in the dying minutes.

Camarxet could have scored but Agxem goalkeeper saved a free-kick taken by Caitan Viegas.

In the resultant tie-breaker, Agxem proved to be better through Joshly Gomes, Manuel Castanha and Frazer Castanha who scored while James Fernandes and Caitan Viegas netted for Camerxet.

Curtorim MLA Alex Reginaldo Lourenco was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Haston Ferrao and others dignitaries.
