SALIGAO: Albert Developers Veterans got the better off Varca Veterans by a 2-1 win to enter the final of the All-Goa Veterans Soccer, organised by Saligao Sporting Club and played at Saligao ground, on Wednesday.

At halftime the teams were tied at 1-1.
Albert Developers had an upper hand in the match and tried to convert their chances right from the start however Varca Veterans tried hard to contain the rival strikers to keep the scoreboard levelled.
The defending tactic from Varca Veterans didnt last long as Albert Developers broke the deadlock in the 20th minute of play when Marcus Carvalho curled in his freekick to the far corner of the Varca goal.
Varca did not waste time and restored parity within three minutes through Rosario Carvalho who got the better of keeper Chandrakant Naik and tapped the ball home, 1-1.
Changing ends, rejuvenated Albert Developers made their move on the still settling Varca side and Menino Fernandes managed to net in the all important goal in the 40th minute of play to ensure Albert Developers a berth into the final.
