PANJIM: Goa's Archana Sharma bagged silver medal at the 2nd Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship  held at Hanoi, Vietnam, recently.

Archana Sharma form Mapusa, made India proud by bagging the silver medal in 55kg fighting system (combat),  by defeating strong contenders from Vietnam,  Turkmenistan, Kazakistan before she lost in the final after a tough fought bout to a experienced Thailand lass.  

Archana recently bagged gold and silver medal at the 2nd Ju-Jitsu Nationals held at Delhi under the agesis of Ju-Jitsu Association Of India (JAI).  

She will be representing India in the Ju-Jitsu Event at the Asian Indoor Martial Art Games to be held at Turkmenistan mid September.
