Axgem hit Novo Vaddo for tennis score
VIRABHAT-CURTORIM: Agxem blanked Novo Vaddo 6-0 to move into quarter-finals of the 5th Jose and Franky Memorial inter-ward football tournament organised by Sporting Club of Virabhat (Curtorim), at St Alex church ground, on Sunday.
Agxem scored their first goal in the 10th minute through Agnelo Gomes’ placement shot. Agxem scored their second goal through Joshly Gomes in the 16th minute, and soon after Nickson Castanha scored the third goal for Agxem at the end of the first half.
In second half, Agxem took full control of the game and Nickson Castanha added two more goals in 40th & 45th minutes to complete his hat-trick. In the 60th minute, Frazer Castanha scored the sixth goal.
Novo Vaddo’s Floydy Fernandes received the emerging player-of-the-match award.
