Bardez Veterans move into quarters
CURTORIM: Bardez Veterans defeated Sun Moon veterans, Chandor 6-5 via the tie-breakers to move into the quarter-finals on of the Curtorim Veterans football tournament, at DSYA Curtorim ground, on Sunday.

CURTORIM: Bardez Veterans defeated Sun Moon veterans, Chandor 6-5 via the tie-breakers to move into the quarter-finals on of the Curtorim Veterans football tournament, at DSYA Curtorim ground, on Sunday.
Lino Pereira opened the account for Bardez Veterans in the 8th minute but their joy was short lived as within four minutes Trevor Pinto equalised 1-1 for Sun Moon Veterans.
Bruno Coutinho missed a sitter for Bardez in the 23rd minute while Pele Xavier and Adarian Dias missed for Chandor in the 45th and 49th minute.
In the resultant tie-breaker Bardez Veterans proved to be better shooters.
Bardez veterans will meet the winners of Nuvem Veterans and Barcelona Veterans in the quarter-finals on January 23.
