CANSAULIM/ CHICALIM/ VELSAO: CAC Cansaulim stunned Salgaocar FC 2-1 in the Goa Football Association U-14 League match played at TB Cunha Sports Complex, Cansaulim, on Tuesday.

CAC put up a strong fight from the word go and deservingly took the lead in the 8th minute through Jerico Vaz. However, Yash Pawar made it all square for Salgaocar FC in the 16th minute. The scores were level at the break. 

Crossing over, CAC Cansaulim scored the winning goal through their star player Om H in the 43rd minute.

Meanwhile, at Velsao ground, Benfica Youth Club and A A de Majorda played out a drab draw.

At Chicalim ground, Rohan Yadav scored a double hat-trick as Betalbatim Sporting Club scored a resounding 14-0 win over Baina Sports Club.

Wenceslaus Antao scored a treble and Gladson scored two goals. Joel D’Silva, Joshua and Seghen Fernandes scored a goal each for the winning team.

At Don Bosco ground, Panjim, Portais Sporting Club registered a narrow 1-0 win over Don Bosco Oratory Panjim.

The only goal was scored in the seventh minute of the play by Faraaz Naik. 

After that neither sides  could find the mark, the score line remained 1-0 till the final whistle.
