Cutorim Gym edge past Rossman Cruz
UTORDA: Curtorim Gymkhana edged past Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna 2-1 to move into quarter-finals of 26th Lourdes festival all Goa inter-village soccer in memory of late Bernard Custodio D’Souza organised by United Club of Utorda in association with Sports Authority of Goa, at SAG ground, Utorda, on Tuesday.
Rossman Cruz SC scored in the 6th minute through Cristo D' Mello who was assisted by Savio off a fine pass.
Josley Gomes equalised for Curtorim with a placement shot in the 22nd minute.Curtorim netted the second in the 40th minute through Josley Gomes.
Curtorim Gymkhana will now meet St Anthony, Colva on October 21 in the quarter-finals.
