DBO Fatorda enter final
CUNCOLIM: A superb brace by substitute Hanslum Furtado helped Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda to score a 4-1 win over Wilred Leisure Sports Club, Curtorim to march into the final of the Rising Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Rising Club of Savorcotta, at Cuncolim School ground, on Sunday.
Striker Francis Andrade opened the scoring for DBO in the 16th minute on a cross by Joel Colaco.
Necil Pinto doubled the lead in the 30th minute of the play of a pass from Francis Andrade.
Substitute Hanslum Furtado scored the third goal for DBO after capitalising on a cross received from Velton D’souza in the 55th minute.
Three minutes later, Veron Fernandes reduced the margin for Wilred Leisure SC. Hanslum Furtado made the issue safe for DBO by scoring the fourth goal off a pass from Joel Colaco.
Joel was adjudged man-of-the-match.
Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda will now meet Ambelim Sports Club in the final on September 16.
