Damodar College reign supreme
MARGAO: Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics emerged as the champion at the Inter-Collegiate Badminton Championship (Men & Women) of Goa University in both categories. The men’s team defeated Don Bosco College while the women’s team defeated V.M. Salgaonkar College with score of 3-0 and 2-0 respectively in the final.
The Judo team of Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics secured Runners-up in the men’s category winning a gold, 5 silver and a bronze medal.
There were more than 25 college teams from Goa.
Principal Dr. Prita D. Mallya, and Chairman VVM’s Sports Governing Council, Vikram Verlekar congratulated the captains and the team members for their outstanding achievement and performance.
