Dempo SC humble Verem United
PANJIM: Dempo Sports Club recorded a commanding 13-0 win over Verem United in the Goa Football Association U-16 League match played at Ella ground, on Sunday.
Sherwin Abranches gave the lead in the 8th and 11th minutes.
Dempo inflated the lead as Shreyash Naik scored a brace in the 21st and 22nd minutes before Necio scored the team’s fifth in the 23rd minute. Shreyash completed his hat-trick in the 31st minute before Velancio added two more before the break to take the tally to 8-0 at the break.
Crossing over, Shelden Fernandes, Jimmy Colalco, Veiri Colaco scored a goal each while Dwayne Neto registered a brace to take Dempo’s goal tally to 13-0.
