Easy win for Goa Velha
CHANDOR: Goa Velha Sports Club registered a comfortable 3-1 victory over Sarzora Sports Club in the Chandor Seamen's Trophy football tournament played at Chandor ground, on Sunday.
CHANDOR: Goa Velha Sports Club registered a comfortable 3-1 victory over Sarzora Sports Club in the Chandor Seamen's Trophy football tournament played at Chandor ground, on Sunday.
A 11th minute strike from Sunny Simoes for Sarzora SC was cancelled out by goals from Francis Fernandes (20'), Chandan Gawas (46') and Sairaj Chopdekar (59') for Goa Velha.
Sarzora missed a few good chances that cost them dearly as they slumped to the defeat.
With the win, Goa Velha Sports Club booked their place in the quarter-finals.
