Fr Agnel YC get the better of Mormugao United CSC
CHANDOR: Fr Agnel YC Paroda got the better of Mormugao United CSC 5-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the XLV Chandor Seamen’s trophy, organised by Chandor Club, Chandor ground, on Wednesday. Joliton Dias opened the account for Fr Agnel with a ground shot in the 4th minute.

CHANDOR: Fr Agnel YC Paroda got the better of Mormugao United CSC 5-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the XLV Chandor Seamen’s trophy, organised by Chandor Club, Chandor ground, on Wednesday. Joliton Dias opened the account for Fr Agnel with a ground shot in the 4th minute.
11 minutes later, Fr Agnel’s Sezwin Fernandes doubled the lead with a placement shot. At the other end, Alok Bolekar pulled a goal back for Mormugao in the 29th minute.
Fr Agnel netted three more goals through Jayson Dias in the 41st and 69th minutes. Manish Oliveira too recorded his name on the scoresheet in the 55th minute to make it 5-1 for Fr,Agnel.
Fr.Agnel YC Paroda will now meet the winner of Sao Jose de Areal and Raia SC in the quarter-finals on September 1
