Franky re-elected as XI Star SCC president
MAPUSA: Franky Carvalho was re-elected as the President of XI Star Sports and Cultural Club, Shetye Wado, Mapusa for the 28th consecutive time at the General Body Meeting held recently.

MAPUSA: Franky Carvalho was re-elected as the President of XI Star Sports and Cultural Club, Shetye Wado, Mapusa for the 28th consecutive time at the General Body Meeting held recently.
Others appointed were Prasad Parsekar (vice- president), Pravin Gadekar (secretary), Raguvir Verekar (vice-secretary), Naresh Verekar (treasurer) and Kundan Gadekar (vice-treasurer).
Franky became the president of this club at a very young age and till date works for betterment of the youth and society at large. XI Star Sports and Cultural Club has a total of 65 members.
“Our members participate in football, carom and volleyball tournaments. We also organize an All-Goa Cricket tournament every year. Besides sports we undertake cleanliness drives, medical camps and other cultural activities,” he told.
