Guirdolim SC move into quarters

DICARPALE: Guirdolim Sports Club got the better of CAC Cansaulim 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Our Lady of Fatima Cup organised by Dicarpale SC, at Dicarpale panchayat ground, on Monday.

Irfan Yadwad score a hat-trick for Guirdolim Sports Club in the 9th, 50th, 55th minutes while a consolation goal was scored through Melody Correia for CAC Cansaulim.

Fatorda edge past Viva Goa

PER-SERAULIM: Fatorda Veterans edged past VIVA Goa Veterans, Bardez 2-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Flame of Unity Veterans, at Mabai Per-Seraulim ground, on Monday.

Vincent Barbosa netted a brace for Fatorda Veterans in the 20th and 65th minutes while Poly D’Souza pulled a goal back for Bardez in the 55th minute.

Fatrade blank Pedda

VARCA: Fatrade got the better of Pedda 5-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 1st Late Frivon Memorial football tournament organised by Friends of Frivon, at Varca Sports club ground, on Monday.

Bechkam netted a hat-trick while Francis netted a brace for Fatrade. In another match, Chadvaddo shot-out Demis 8-7 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals.

Rachol prevail over Gonval

ASSOLDA: Rachol Veterans defeated Gonval Veterans 2-1 to move into the quarter finals of the 3rd Assolda Veterans football tournament, played at Assolda panchayat ground, on Monday.Anthony Cruz netted a brace for Rachol in the 20th and 40th minutes while Claudio Fernands pulled a goal back for Gonvol in the 45th minute.

Maina SC down Fr Agnelo YC

CURTORIM: Maina Sports Club, Curtorim downed Fr Agnelo Youth of Club, Paroda 2-0 to enter the quarter-finals of the Curtorim Villagers Cup inter village football tournament organised by Curtorim Gymkhana, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim, on Monday.

Maina SC opened the scoring in the 10th minute through Myron Fernandes. Joy Hilario doubled the lead in the 70th minute for Maina SC.
