CHANDOR: Gloria Sports Club, Raia scored a solitary goal victory over Goa Velha Sports Club to enter to the quarter-finals of the 14th All-Goa Guirdolim Panchayat Cup, at Chandor church ground, on Friday. 

Both teams started the match on a cautious note and play was mostly confined to the midfield. In the 15th minute of the match, Jemito Pango of Gloria SC fed Josico Fernandes who ran wide with the ball and from an acute angle took a powerful shot to give Gloria SC the lead. 

 In the second half, Gloria SC should have scored a couple more goals but their strikers let them down. With no more addition to the scoreline the match ended 1-0 in favour of Gloria Sports Club.
