Goa clinch National Due-ball title
PANJIM: Goa won the 5th Senior National Due ball Championship, in the men and women catergories, organised by Goa due-ball association, at Forest training school ground, Valpoi, recently.
PANJIM: Goa won the 5th Senior National Due ball Championship, in the men and women catergories, organised by Goa due-ball association, at Forest training school ground, Valpoi, recently.
In the final, Goa won by 6-1 goals against Telangana. Prachi Palkar Muskan Shaikh and Prerna Palsingh scored 2 goals each while Lekhiya from Telangana scored 1 goal.
In Men’s final, Goa won against Telangana 5-1. Ulpat Shet, Baburaj Naik and Mehran Shaikh scored 1 goal each while Shivaji Naik scored 2 goals. Telangana players Charan Kumar and Rathupat scored 1 goal each.
Prachi and Shivaji of Goa were awarded with the best player trophy in their respective catergories. Mozam Khan is awarded with highest scorer trophy.
