PANJIM: Moloca defeated Mesta Bhat 4-3 via the tie breaker after both the teams were levelled 1-1 at the end of regulation time, in the 4th Pogo Boys Cup, at Merces church ground, on Friday.

Mesta Bhat's Joe had the first shy at the goal as he took a free kick, but his shot landed straight into the hands of Moloca goalie Yogesh.

Later, Moloca's Savio played a lovely ball to Venancio who headed the ball however it went off target. As the match progressed, Mesta Bhat's Joe tried hard to turn the face of the match for his team but lacked the support from his other team mates. At half-time the scoreboard read 0-0 as no team could find the back of the net. Post resumption, Austin finally broke the deadlock for Moloca after a wonderful header by a corner fed in by Savio.

Mesta Bhat weren't too far to draw terms with Moloca as Myron restored parity got Mesta Bhat after he nodded the ball in the goal. Moloca goalie Yogesh was at fault this time after he failed to collect the ball.

Looking to net the winner Mesta Bhat's Caitan tried a header and misses to score by a few inches. Mesta Bhat's Oduth stood solid rock in his team's defence and warded off a lot of Moloca attacks.  The match was decided via tie-breaker in which Moloca prevailed over Mesta Bhat 4-3.
