UTORDA: Navelim Sporting Club thumped St Anthony SC, Colva 6-1 to enter the quarter-finals of 27th Lourdes Football festival tournament organised by United Club of Utorda in memory of their past President Rocky Noronha, at Utorda SAG ground, on Tuesday. 

Navelim Sporting Club opened the account in the very fourth minute through the boots of Clinton Niasso with an assist by Avlon Gomes. 

Navelim’s Clinton doubled the tally at seventh minute through a defensive lapse. Later, Mizio Peixeto scored the third goal for Navelim. Colva’s Baptist Fernandes reduced the margin in the 33rd minute with a deft placement.

Post-resumption, Clinton Niasso completed his hat-trick in the 60th minute for Navelim. Langston Luis made it 5-1 in the 64th minute.  

Mizio Peixeto scored his second goal to make it 6-1 in the 68th minute for Navelim.
