CURTORIM: Novovaddo defeated Ungirim  3-0 into the quarter-finals of the Rebello Inter-Ward football tournament at Curtorim ground, on Thursday. 

Novovaddo dominated the early minutes of the game but hust couldn’t get past the stubborn Ungrirm defence.

At the other end, Ungirim played a possession play to thwart the attack from the oppossition.

After much trying, Novovaddo finally took the lead scoring the first goal in the 36th minute through Joel Fernandes. Novovaddo lead

Thereafter Nevelle Ferandes increased the lead in the 47th minute before Myson Fernandes scored the third in the 62nd minute. Ungirim did their best to reduce the margin but couldn’t succeed due to strong defence of Novovaddo.
