OL Gloria SC clinch BSCA Cup
RAIA: Our Lady of Gloria Sports Club, Ilha De Rachol defeated Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda 4-3 via the tie-breaker in the final to clinch the BSCA Cup, organised by BSCA, in association with Snow’s Football Academy and Sports Authority of Goa, at Raia Panchayat ground, on Sunday.

OL Gloria SC and Don Bosco Oratory players played attacking game in the first half.
In the 6th minute, Francis Andrade of Don Bosco should have taken the lead for his team but Jaston Dias of Gloria tackled his move.
Later in the match, OL Gloria’s Danny Fernandes almost took the lead when before his left footed strike hit the rival cross bar and went out of play in the 26th minute.
Necil Pinto drew the first blood for Don Bosco Oratory in the 28th minute after Francis Andrade sent in a well measured ball towards the former.
The teams went into the breather with Don Bosco Oratory leading by a goal.
Post resumption, Jaston Dias’ power packed shot drew level for OL Gloria SC in the 48th minute.
At full time- the score read 1-1.
In the resultant tie-breaker Jason Dias, Danny Fernandes and Jasten Dias netted for Gloria SC while Francis Andrade and Joel Camara scored for Don Bosco, Oratory.
The winners were awarded Rs 30,000 plus trophy while runners up collected Rs 20,000 plus trophy.
The best player of the tournament was awarded to Francis Andrade while the best defender was bagged by Valito Miranda.
Alexio Reginaldo Lourenco, Curtorim MLA was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to winners and runners up in the presence of other dignitaries.
