PANJIM: Panvel Sports Club registered a massive 142-run victory against Leo Sports Club in the Goa Cricket Association B Division League, at SAG Campal ground, on Friday.
PANJIM: Panvel Sports Club registered a massive 142-run victory against Leo Sports Club in the Goa Cricket Association B Division League, at SAG Campal ground, on Friday.
Batting first, Panvel scored 289 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 40 overs.
Soham Panvelkar scored 135 runs hitting eighteen boundaries and two sixes.
Mehul Jirage (54) and Prajvot Rivonkar (43) were the other run getters for Panvel. Roger D'Souza (43/2) was the pick of Leo SC bowlers.
In reply, a brillinat bowling display from Panvel bundled out Leo SC for 147 runs in 30.4 overs. Kalpesh Salgaokar (49) was the top run getter for the losers.
Lalit Naik impressed with the ball with the figures of 39/3. Mihir Kundaikar, Manish Kakode and Ravi Kumar took two wickets each for Panvel.
