CURTORIM: Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna got the better of Gloria SC, Raia 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the Curtorim Panchayat Cup organised by Maina Sports Club, at Curtorim ground, on Wednesday. 

Throughout the match, the attempts of strikers from both teams were thwarted by rival defenders.  

The  teams dished out an attacking brand of football and had equal number of chances but their strikers lacked sharpness.

In the resultant tie-breaker, Rossman Cruz Nagoa-Verna converted through Savio, Hilton, Manuel and Christo while Jeston, Vellington and Alloy scored for Gloria SC.

Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna will now meet Parish Youth Nuvem in the quarter-finals on February 26.
