RAIA: Ten-man Sporting Club of Davorlim downed Varca Sports Club 2-0 to book quarter-finals berth in the Coutinho Family Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Santa Cruz Society of Poitomado in association with Cuncolim Union, at Cuncolim school ground, on Friday.
Prince Figueredo opened the scoring in the 26th minute of the match of a pass from Melchior Miranda. Prince doubled the lead in the 55th minute of a pass from Velroy Colaco. Prince Figueiredo of SC Davorlim was adjudged as man-of-the-match.
