PANJIM: Salcete Football Club prevailed over Silver Sands Sports Club 3-1 in the GFA U-16 League Second Div Play-offs at Artificial Turf ground, Fatorda,on Thursday.

Salcete FC led 1-0 at the break, with Daylen scoring the lead in the 34th minute.

Crossing over, Silver Sands, came with renewed ideas and managed to restore parity through Marc Mascarenhas in the 49th minute.

However, Salcete FC regrouped quickly and played as a unit and smashed in two more goals through Vivaldy Travasso and Jabiulla B.
