MAPUSA: Saligao Sporting Club came from a goal down to hold PVC Parra to a 1-1 draw in the GFA Second Division League, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Monday.

It was Parra colts that stunned their opponents with a very 2nd minute goal where Omkar Sawant scored with a neat placement, 1-0.

Saligao gave in their best and finally in the 27th minute managed to level terms through Ajit Dawdkar. A goal-bound shot by James Fernandes was poorly collected by Parra keeper to find Ajit to tap the ball into the goal, 1-1.

At Quitula grounds, Candolim Sports Club trounced Xetrapal Sports Club 3-0.

Terrance D’Mello, Lesten Martins and Canute De Souza scored for Candolim colts.
