DANDO-BENAULIM: Sao Jose de Areal got the better of Betalbatim SC 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 43rd Cana-Benaulim soccer organised by Cana-Benaulim Sporting Association, at Sao Joao Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim on Saturday.

It was Ignatius Oliveira of Areal who missed a chance to score in the sixth minute. Five minutes later, Ronaldo missed a chance to score for Betalbatim.

In the second half, Marcus Mascarenhas netted the opener for Areal in the 56th minute. 

Six minutes later, Marcus Mascarenhas netted his brace to make it 2-0 for Areal.
