MAPUSA: Saraswat Vidyalaya Mapusa entered the finals of the Taluka level U-17 Boys cricket tournament, organized by DSYA, defeating St Theresa HS Candolim by 8 wickets, at Peddem ground, on Monday.

Saraswat won the toss and elected to field.  They restricted Candolim school for 137 runs where Anish Lotlikar did most of the damage by taking 4 crucial wickets. Anand Tendulkar was the main scorer for Candolim, scoring 58 runs in 29 balls.  Top three batsmen of Saraswat gave a good start for their team with Karushal Churi and Vedang Naik not out.
