NAGOA: Sonarvaddo Boys A got the better of Mount Mary Boys 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the  Nagoa Panchayat inter-ward football tournament, played at Nagoa Panchyat ground, Verna, on Friday.

Sonvardo Boys A missed chances to score through Simon, Ali and Stevan in the 24th, 26th and 38th minutes respectively as all of them shot wide.

Both teams tried their best to find the match winner but the strikers of the respective teams lacked sharpness as they failed to convet the chances which were created. 

In the resultant tie-breaker, Sonarvaddo A Boys proved to be better shooters.

In  another match, Sonarvaddo Boys B defeated Mazilwaddo Boys 1-0 to move into the quarters.
