Sporting Club of Davorlim get the better of CAC Cansaulim
CUNCOLIM: Sporting Club of Davorlim got the better of CAC Cansaulim 4-1 to enter in the quarter-finals of the Yarri cup (South Goa) inter-village football tournament organised by Cuncolim Union, at Cuncolim School ground, Cuncolim, on Monday.
The Davorlim side which dominated the entire match led by a goal in the first session scored by Abhay Shetty in the 10th minute off a pass from Clifton Rebello.
Sporting Davorlim scored three more goals in the span of 13 minutes.
Agnelo Colaco found the mark of a pass from Valmiki Miranda.
Later, Valmiki added one more goal for Davorlim in the 51st minute capitalizing on the cross from Joel Colaco.
Santan Vaz reduced the margin for CAC Cansaulim off Domnic Soares’ assist.
Joe Gomes added one more for Sporting Club of Davorlim to make it 4-1 of a pass from Joel Colaco in the 63rd minute.
