MAPUSA: AA de Moira Sports Club managed to end St Savio’s Sports Club, Calangute winning streak as they drew 1-1 draw in the GFA’s 2nd Division League match played at Poriat ground, Calangue, on Sunday.

After today’s draw St Savio’s has seven points while Moira has five points.

After dictating terms it was Calangute side that took the lead in the 28th minute of play as Ivo Fernandes curling free kick had a touch of rival keeper’s hands before the ball landed into the goal to make it 1-0.

Moira side almost tasted there first defeat of the ongoing league, but in the dying of the regulation time a goal bound shot from Ronald Martins slipped from the gloves of St Savio’s custodian Selwyn D’Souza to find Saddam Bannati tap the ball into the goal, 1-1, to send their supporters into raptures.
