USA has word of praise for facilities

BENAULIM: The US coach Christopher Hackworth shared about the fan base in the US as well as the passion which they show towards the beautiful game. The game of football is growing in popularity as the fans have been showing interest as the World Cup progressed.

BENAULIM: The US coach Christopher Hackworth shared about the fan base in the US as well as the passion which they show towards the beautiful game. The game of football is growing in popularity as the fans have been showing interest as the World Cup progressed.

The coach also spoke about the excellent facilities provided to the US team and staff members. “There are some players who are 16 or 17 years old while most of them are still young,” said Hackworth when questioned about the personality of the squad.

This is the first time USA will come up against a European team in the World Cup which will be a good experience. “We have played England in the past 3 years and this match will be exciting and fantastic to see how we face them.”

Tim Weah, son of former US forward and Ballon d’Or winner  George Weah said,” My father is a classic player and I idolize him.” The teenager star also spoke highly about the Indian National team,” They surprised us with their physicality as well as technicality. We hope they have a great future ahead,” Weah concluded.

After scoring the first hat-trick of the tournament and guiding his team into quarter-finals, Tim Weah highlighed his only mission of winning matches for his side in the competition.

“I am excited playing football and winning matches is the only thing what makes me comfortable,” said Tim while speaking after team’s training session at Benaulim ground.

Tim expressed that the match against Ghana was their toughest encounter in the tournament.
