USC Seraulim down Dando Boys; Raia SC beat Arlem YA

PANJIM: United Sports Club Seraulim scored a fluent 3-0 win over Dando Boys Club, Benaulim in the Goa Football Association Third Division League match played at Benaulim ground, on Monday.

Following their 1-1 draw in their previous match Seraulim side didn’t hesitate to attack from the word go against the Dando Boys, who were beaten 1-5 by UC Benaulim.

Despite a cagey opening minutes, Seraulim shoot into lead in the 25th minute when Jesmon Noronha slammed in from a close range to hand his side a well deserved lead. Seraulim led 1-0 at the break.

Crossing over, Seraulim doubled their lead in the 50th minute through Floscio Fernandes  before Oliver D’Souza scored the third in the 54th minute. Dando Boys are yet to open their account while Seraulim stand on four points in two matches.

In another match at Raia ground, Raia Sporting Club scored a narrow 2-1 win over Arlem Youth Association.

Oilex Olievera handed Raia an early 12th minute lead which turned out to be the only goal in the first half. Crossing ends, Joyson Gaunkar doubled the lead for the winners before Joe Pango pulled a goal back for Arlem in the 86thminute.

Meanwhile Dramapur Sports Club and Ambelim Sports Club played out a 1-1 draw at Ambelim ground.

 In the GFA U-16 League match, Sesa FA and Goan FC played out a drab draw at Sesa ground, Sanquelim.

 Meanwhile, Goa United SA outclassed St Savio Calvim 2-0 at Poriat ground.

Bishal and Anuj Kuttikar scored for the winners in the either halves of the play.
