Varca SC blank Rossman Cruz, enter quarters
FATORDA: Varca Sports Club defeated Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the 18th Bro Eulailo Vaz Memorial football tournament, organised by Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda and played at Fatorda ground, on Thursday.

Velroy D’Cruz, the lanky defender of Varca SC was the livewire for their team from the whistle go in the 2nd minute the lad sent in a long ball to Princewel Fernandes, who dribbled Rossman’s Vigal Rego and Noel D’Silva and shot from the top of the box but the rival keeper kept it out.
