Dempo, Sarvodaya gain 1st innings points

A superb unbeaten 33 by Anoop Kolambkar helped Al Fatah Cricket Club to settle for a  draw against Sarvodaya Sporting Club on the third day of the three-day Goa Professional Cricket league at Dr Rajendra Prasad Stadium, here on  Wednesday.
Resuming  at the overnight  score of 228 for 8, Al Fatah were bowled out for 267 in their first innings. Gaurish Yadav remained unbeaten on 36. For Sarvodaya, Advait Katkar took their wicket haul to 6 for 58. Robin claimed one.
Sarvodaya Sporting Club declared their second innings at 141 for 7 in 43.5 overs. Suraj Dongre topscored with 43. For Al Fatah, Dinar Gaonkar was the most successful bowler scalping  3 for 41 while Anoop Kolambkar and Gaurish Yadav shared four wickets.
Al Fatah scored 53 for 2 in 15 overs in their second innings  For Sarvodaya, Advait Katkar and Darshan Misal took a wicket each.With this draw, Sarvodaya collected three points while Al Fatah Cricket Club had to be content with just one point.

At Panjim Gymkhana, Dempo and Chowgule also drew their 3-day encounter. Dempo, however, collected three points based on the first innings lead of 92 while Chowgule had to be content with just a single point.
