PANJIM: Salcete Football Club showed their supremacy over Churchill Brother FC as they recorded an easy 3-0 win in the Goa Football Association U-14 League match played at Ambelim ground, on Wedenesday.
Starting the match on equal footing, Salcete FC were successful in taking the lead in the 26th minute through Omkar Gaunkar. Salcete FC outplayed their opponents with short passes and moving the ball across the pitch. Salcete FC doubled the account in the 26th minute when Omkar completed his brace. Churchill Brothers struggled to match their opponents and soon conceded their third as Aryan Carvalho made it 3-0 for Salcete.
The winners led 3-0 at the break, which turned out to be the final score line as neither teams were able to find the net in the second half.
In another match at Don Bosco ground, Young Strikers Benaulim and SCC Loutolim played out a drab draw.
