VASCO: Gammon India, the company constructing the port connectivity project said it is likely to be completed by December this year, bringing relief to the citizens of the port town and putting an end to the movement of heavy traffic through residential areas.

Project head R Prabhakaran said the work of the Port connectivity arm linking the four-lane flyover to the Mormugao Port’s gate number 9 will be completed by the end of the year. The port connectivity arm will join the flyover at Baina, near Ravindra Bhavan, while the link connecting the arm will be completed by November, he said.
