PANJIM: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Wednesday re-arrested Sandric Fernandes of Dona Paula in a land grabbing case again.

The SIT had earlier arrested Sandric Fernandes, Raju Meithi and Royson Rodrigues of Siolim on August 19 as police suspect that they are the key accused in various land grabbing cases reported across the State.
Sandric is the second of the three key accused to be rearrested in land grabbing case after Raju Meithi who was re-arrested on Tuesday.
All three accused were earlier released on bail. According to the police, the accused allegedly used forged and manipulated documents to grab land.
