Goa Lions, ONGC win respective matches by six wickets

PORVORIM: Goa Lions beat Tata Sports by six wickets in the Goa Corporate League organised by Goa Cricket Association, at GCA ground, Porvorim, on Friday. 
Tata Sports won the toss and elected to bat. They scored 159 for 9 in the alotted 20 overs. 
Skipper Nikhil Patil was the top scorer for Tata Sports  with an unbeaten 67 runs off 44 balls followed by opener Chirag Khurana (40). 
It looked like Tata Sports would put up a mammoth score after a good start but the Goan Lions bowlers fought back to restrict any further damage. Suyash Prabhudesai scalped 3 wickets while Darshan Misal and Amit Verma grabbed 2 wickets each.
 In reply, Goan Lions chased down the target with 3 balls to spare. 
Skipper Amogh Desai scored 64 runs off 38 deliveries while Vaibhav Govekar remained not out on 63. 
The Tata Sports bowlers failed to contain their opponents as only Chirag Khurana was the most economical bowler with a figure of 3-22. Vaibhav Govekar was named the man-of-the-match.
In the second match,  ONGC beat Vijaya Bank by six wickets as they chased down 175 runs with 14 balls to spare.
Sarthak Rajan was named man-of-the-match for his unbeaten knock of 86 runs off 55 deliveries.
