Rane refutes allegations, calls Girish illiterate

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane refuted the allegations made by GPCC president Girish Chodankar saying he has no knowledge of the health sector. Addressing a press conference, Rane said that he has given all answers regarding the tender and local purchase in the Assembly.
“The least Girish could do is check the assembly records or ask his MLAs to get the documents. Girish is talking like illiterate as the High Court too has ruled in favour of the government on the tender and local purchase issue,” he said.
Rane said the allegations made against him and the Dean are uncalled for and the Congress is making baseless allegations as it has no other issue.
“Girish must check for his own governments scams in the past which he won’t be able to even count,” he said.
Clarifying his stand on Wellness Forever, Rane said the Finance department had given them just Rs 20 cr funds and as such it was not enough to procurement.
