MURIDA-FATORDA: Hosts Don Bosco Fatorda used a bit start to get the better of Kamikaze Saligao 50-32 and moved into the final of the Goa Junior U-18 state Basketball championship cup, at Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda basketball court, on Wednesday.
DBO Fatorda played stellar defence to keep a constant lead. Zach with 20 and Nilesh with 14 excelled for the winning team, while Jason scored 12 for the Saligao team.

In the girls semifinals, Sharada Mandir Dashing Damsels defeated Saligao hoopsters 31-7.
Sarah with 12 led the way for the Dashing Damsels, while Diya with 4 points fought a lone battle for the Saligao team.
