The St. Jacinto Island located at a short distance from the main road leading to Vasco, provides a picturesque view for those driving to the Port Town. However, a dilapidated bus-stop along the highway located near the entry point to the island stands in sharp contrast to the well maintained causeway that leads to the island.
This abandoned bus-stop is not utilised by the bus commuters and growth of weeds is noticed inside it. The bus-stop needs to be repaired and properly maintained as it is present along the highway and has become a sore-sight.
When much emphasis is now being given to cleanliness drive across the state, this bus-stop needs the attention of the authorities concerned.
