I had applied for a new telephone and broadband connection. I am still waiting for my new connection. Since last week, I have been making daily enquiry/trips for my new connection. However till now, all my desperate attempts were unsuccessful to get the Verna exchange engineer to even take look at how to get started with my connection.
Please note my place is in a prime location in Verna. We also already have a telephone and broadband connection in the adjacent house and in most of the neighbouring houses. The road along our area is being prepared to lay tar. We had requested the engineer at the Verna exchange to kindly give us the connection before the final tar coat has been put, and before the cable running below is total covered tar, which would make it all the more difficult to get the connection. However, the engineer has no in the same. Moreover, we asked him when he intends to make the connection and he said that there are no plans as of now and cannot give any estimated date either. Everytime we inquire, they say that there are busy.
We have school going kids at home and close relatives abroad and the internet is a necessity for our kids for their assignments, studies etc and to stay in touch with our family. Therefore, I would like to make a humble request to help me in getting my telephone connection.
