Sesa humble GFDC 11-1

Striker Glevito scores a fine hat-trick; Mark nets a brace

MAPUSA: Sesa Football Academy outplayed Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) 11-1 in Goa Football Association’s under-16 football league match, at Sankhali ground, on Saturday.
Dylan Fernandes opened the floodgates for Sesa in the eighth minute.
In the 20th minute, GFDC defender handled the ball in the danger zone and the referee pointed towards the spot-kick.
Off the resultant spot-kick, Cyrus Noronha made no mistake to make it 2-0.
Soon, three minutes later, Kunal Salgaonkar inflated the tally with a clinical finish.
Glevito Miranda joined the party as he dribbled past a couple of defenders to make in 4-0.
There was no stopping for striker Glevito, who secured his brace in the 36th minute.
Just before the half time, medio Malcolm Gonsalves was brought down outside the danger zone and the resultant free-kick taken by Lionel was saved by the rival keeper and the ball fell back in play.
However, Malcolm, who was lurking near the goal area showed good alertness to nod it in from close range, 6-0. 
Post resumption, Sesa came back even stronger as young Malcolm ran down the right flank and sent in a beautiful cross to Daniel Lobo, who beautifully headed in the teams seventh goal of the evening.
In the 50th minute, Glevito completed his hat-trick in style while a goal by Lionel followed in the 68th minute through a power-packed 30-yard strike. 
GFDC had a sigh of relief in the 70th minute after Joybert was brought down in penalty are by a rival player to gain a penalty. Aaron Alvares kept his cool and scored the consolation goal.
But Sesa were undone and had more to offer. Mark Barreto scored after dribbling past three defenders in the 81st minute. 
Soon, Mark completed his brace with a 25 yard right-footer.
