They say airports give the first impression of a country to tourists visiting India, even otherwise airports should be well maintained to provide a good user experience for travellers. Dabolim Airport though for the most part has good facility management but a few areas need to be taken care of. The seats in the front lounge right after the entrance are in a state of disrepair.
Flaking paint, rusted frames, disjointed bucket seats, misaligned frames and torn upholstery is seen in almost all the seating units, these need to be urgently replaced as they not only spoil the ambience but could also prove to be hazardous to users especially children and the elderly. I request the airport authorities to take immediate action.
