PANJIM: Taking cognisance of the misuse of MLA’s stickers on private vehicles, Goa Assembly Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar on Friday said that the Legislature Department will initiate action against those found using stickers meant for legislators on their vehicles.

Tawadkar warned that the matter will be dealt with very seriously. He said that the persons who are found using the MLA’s stickers will be summoned by the Legislative Department and the source from where they had procured the stickers would be found out.
“We will find out whether they got the sticker from the Legislative Assembly staff or from the MLAs,” he said.
The matter will be placed before the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) for further action, Tawadkar said.
