Goa may convert state highways to dist highways to save liquor outlets
PANJIM: With over 2000 liquor outlets, including bars, facing the axe from April 1, the State is looking at every possibility to save at least those structures located along the State highways. Sources said the State government could emulate the move of its neighbouring state that amended the law denotifying State highways and converting them into district highways.
