PANJIM: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda scored a 3-2 win over Navelim Villagers Union in an exciting match and stormed into the semi-finals of 15th London Trophy inter-village football tournament 2023 at Goa Velha Sports Club ground, today.
Mario Carvalho put Don Bosco Oratory ahead in the 21st minute. Charles Miranda consolidated the lead two minutes later. Mario Carvalho scored his brace to give Don Bosco Oratory a commanding 3-0 lead at the lemon break.

Navelim Villagers Union came back strongly in the second half and Prestly Gomes scored a brace in the 50th and 53rd minutes to reduce the margin. However, the Don Bosco Oratory defence stood firm and denied Navelim Villagers Union the equaliser till the final whistle.
Mario Noronha of Don Bosco Oratory was awarded the man-of-the match prize by Ausdan Travasso.
